Ocean State Theatre Company (OSTC), the not-for-profit producing entity at the historic Theatre By The Sea, will host their annual fundraising event Beyond the Sea today.

Join Theatre by The Sea audience favorite Lennie Watts and special guests for a psychedelic event to benefit Ocean State Theatre Company, the not-for-profit producing entity at the historic Theatre by The Sea.

"We are thrilled to have Lennie Watts as the host for this year's event," said Amiee Turner, President of Ocean State Theatre Company. "He received such a warm reception during his appearance in The Drowsy Chaperone, it is quite evident that theatergoers remember him fondly. In addition to the stage presentation, the evening will include a champagne reception, live and silent auctions, and an after party featuring Rhode Island's own Brass Attack, playing funky 70s dance tunes."

"We are especially grateful to our grand sponsor, First Trade Union Bank, as well as Liberty Rentals, both of whom supported the event last year," continued Ms. Turner. "We are also pleased to welcome Marasco & Nesselbush, who has come aboard as a new sponsor this year."

Beyond the Sea will take place at Theatre By The Sea on Saturday, October 1, 2011. The theatre is located at 364 Cards Pond Road, Matunuck, RI. Tickets are $80 (which includes the champagne hour and performance) and $140 (which includes the champagne hour, performance and VIP after-party).
