In Ricardo Pitts-Wiley's holiday musical, Chatty's Place had been a legendary Rhode Island night club. It's founder, Chatty, who was from Chattanooga, Tennessee, in 1933 had brought his childhood friend Bessie Smith to sing the Black community's blues away after the death of Sisseiretta Jones, better known as Black Patty.

It is now the present and the building that housed the night club is about to be torn down. Chatty's grandson CJ, who had grownup hearing about the famous Christmas parties at Chatty's Place, decides to hold one last gathering. He sends out a Facebook post, asking anyone who still remembered to come and celebrate with him. What follows is a night of jazz, blues and Christmas favorites and good times.

The cast features jazz/blues guitarist and singer Kim Trusty, pianist Christopher Hunter, bass player Steve Lewis and singers Danette Briggs, Jeannie Carson, Lawrence Nunes, Michelle DuPuis, Hannah Lum, Skylia Briggs, Natalie Hunter, & Jeremiah Andrade as Chatty's grandson.

Each show will also feature a special guest performer.
