Point Park Theatre Students to Sing National Anthem at Steelers Game this Sunday

Several members of the cast of the Conservatory Theatre Company's world premiere production of the musical, "21," will sing the national anthem at the Pittsburgh Steelers game at 1 p.m. EST, Sunday at Heinz Field.

The Point Park University students singing prior to the start of the Steelers-Tampa Bay Buccaneers game on Sept. 28 are: Melessie Clark, Jeffrey Gorti, Cameron Jackson, Keaton Jadwin, Aine Lafferty, Javier Manente, Nick McDonough, Beatriz Naranjo, Jasmine Overbaugh, Bebe Tabickman, Lamont Walker and Dorsey Ziller.

The Conservatory Theatre Company's production of "21" runs Oct. 17-26 in the Rockwell Theatre in the Pittsburgh Playhouse, 222 Craft Ave. Information about tickets and the show can be found at www.pittsburghplayhouse.com.

Directed by award-winning director and seasoned Broadway actor Richard Sabellico, and written by Pittsburgh native Alki Steriopoulos, "21" tells the compelling story of the unparalleled life and death of baseball legend, Roberto Clemente, as well as the three women who were instrumental in making Clemente the man he was - his mother, Doña Luisa, his wife, Vera, and his doting sister, Anairis.
