Writer/actor Anne Stockton and director Austin Pendleton return to off the WALL with a World Premiere! After a successful run in 2012 of Ms. Stockton's play THE SPEED QUEEN, off the WALL Productions opens its 2015-16 season with her new play, I WON'T BE IN ON MONDAY. Nikki has met the man of her life, and she's looking forward to a fabulous adventure with him - that is, until a police detective enters the picture. He suspects that she has stolen two very expensive rings from coworkers in order to pay for this fabulous adventure. Nikki struggles to maintain her equilibrium in circumstances that would derail a much more stable person than she. Most of the time she succeeds, by a hair, but she DOES succeed - with wit, honesty, vulnerability, and a persistence that is nothing less than heroic.

I WON'T BE IN ON MONDAY is part of off the WALL's in repertory series, and is scheduled to return to Carnegie Stage in February of 2016 before its New York City Premiere
