The SAVING SANTA Puppet Show is performing for a second year at Theater Works back by popular demand! It's Christmas Eve and when the possibility of the Secret existence of Santa is threatened to be exposed by some meddling kids it's up to a group of clever talking presents to save the day. Puppet Works puppet shows are ideal for children ages 3 and up to enjoy an entertaining performance. We also offer a "Make-n-Take" interactive workshop for only $4 / participant following each show. Tickets for the puppet show are only $6 / person and SAVING SANTA runs December 3rd - 24th on the Gyder Stage.

SAVING SANTA is a fun holiday adventure is full of comic hijinx involving quirky elves, a cookie loving Santa, a Dad who loves Christmas, and other adorable characters. An amusing family show that tries to prove the age old question, "Is Santa really real?"

The puppets and puppeteers encourage the children to interact and ask questions with a talk back following each performance. Puppet Works is also willing to work with schools and day care centers to create special performances during the week.

"Make-n-Take" Workshops are a family activity offered at the theater following each puppet performance.  Admission is $4/person. Please note: shows are in English unless specified, but you'll find children love puppets regardless of language!  No reservations are necessary but seating for the shows and workshops is limited. Registration for workshops is recommended and can be made in advance of each performance in person or by calling the Box Office at 623.815.7930.

 

Tickets are on sale now. For only $6 / person this Christmas Puppet Show is a family favorite. SAVING SANTA runs Saturdays, December 3 - 24 with performances at 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Tickets are may be purchased both online at www.theaterworks.org and at the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts. The Box Office is open from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. daily and may be reached at 623-815-7930. Theater Works is located in the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts (the theater with the copper roof) at 8355 W Peoria Avenue, Peoria.
