The State Theatre Center for the Arts has teamed up with 99.9 The Hawk, The Marines and the Salvation Army as an official drop-off point for this year's Toys for Tots campaign.

Located at 453 Northampton St in Easton, the State Theatre will house a donation box in its Box Office lobby through December 14th. Visitors to the theatre can drop off a new, unwrapped toy when they purchase tickets, come for a show or at any time the Box Office is open. The State Theatre Box Office is open Monday thru Friday from 10AM -4PM and at least two hours prior to every show.

On Thursday December 12th, 99.9 The Hawk will be on site collecting toys prior to that night's performance of A Christmas Carol, the Musical. Tickets are required for admission into the show but are not necessary to make a toy donation. Tickets are available by calling the box office at 610.252.2132 or online at www.statetheatre.org.

The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is the fundraising, funding and support organization for the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. The Foundation was created at the behest of the U. S. Marine Corps and has supported Toys for Tots since 1991. The Toys for Tots program was created in 1947 and has since distributed over 400 million toys to nearly 200 million needy children.

Toys that are collected are kept in the community in which the campaign took place. All toys collected at the State Theatre will stay in the area to help families in the Lehigh Valley community.
