After a sold-out benefit run for BC/EFA this February, PAGEANT - THE MUSICAL returns in a limited Off-Broadway engagement at The Davenport Theatre (354 West 45th Street). The show officially opened last night, July 14, 2014. PAGEANT - THE MUSICAL COMEDY BEAUTY CONTEST returns for the first time to the New York stage in more than twenty years. The show will run each Monday night in February, with performances on February 3, 10, 17 and 24, 2014 at 7:30pm at the Red Lacquer Club, home of Lucky Cheng's - 240 West 52nd Street. Dreamgirls, directed and choreographed by Robert Longbottom, tells the rags-to-riches story of an up-and-coming 1960s singing girl group and the triumphs and tribulations that come with fame and fortune. Cincinnati's Procter and Gamble Hall- Aronoff Center for the Arts will present DREAMGIRLS from June 8 through June 20, 2010.

The premiere of Dreamgirls in Los Angeles last night, March 2, was clouded by friends of Marie Osmond mouring the loss of her son, Michael Blosil, who recently committed suicide. Stars such as Angela Bassett and Nia Long expressed their condolences to the Osmonds on ET.

Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) limited engagement of Bye Bye Birdie will play its final performance on Sunday, January 24th at 2:00 PM.
