The 5th Annual 'Tomatoes Got Talent' Contest celebrating the talents of women-over-40 who are currently not working pros took place on Monday, April 9 at The Triad.  It was hosted by Randie Levine-Miller, who co-produced with Cheryl Benton, the founder and publisher of Thethreetomatoes.com, which sponsors the event. Jimmy Horan music directed what became a real musical happening!

This year's lineup of the Friars Club Comedy Film Festival includes comedic works from both shorts and features. Featured among the stellar shorts in the program is the award-winning film FOODIE which screens on Friday 10/26 at 6:30pm and will also play in the upcoming Fort Lauderdale Film Festival and the Cucalorus Film Festival in November. The Friars Club established the Friars Foundation in 1977 as it's charitable arm. It's mission is to help performing arts groups create excellent innovative and affordable programs for the enrichment, education, and enjoyment of diverse audiences and participants. The Foundation also helps prepare the next generation of performers and musical artists through scholarship programs for students studying the performing arts.
