Half Key Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Behold Her by Arden Kass on September 7-23 as part of the 2018 Fringe Festival. Directed by Tori Mittelman, the production features Michaela Shuchman and Marcia Saunders in a performance with live music by Chana Rothman that reflects on changing images and definitions of feminine beauty through the prism of Jewish culture.

DREAMERS fans are well aware of the band's love for The Cranberries and “Zombie,” as the classic track has been a staple of their live set dating back to fall of last year. They recorded their haunting version of the song last November at Steakhouse Studio in North Hollywood, CA, with producer Colin Brittain, and are debuting it now as a poignant tribute to late Cranberries vocalist Dolores O'Riordan. National UBU ROI Bake-Off - a one-of-a-kind playwriting workshop by Paula Vogel, open to participation to the general public - will take place on Presidents' Day, Monday, February 19 when hundreds of aspiring and accomplished writers across the country will present their own short works based on Alfred Jarry's 1896 revolutionary drama UBU ROI, about a despot king awash in murder, genocide, a war with Russia and the revolt of his own countrymen and women. Paula Vogel is the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE, and had her first Broadway production last season with her Tony Award-winning work, INDECENT.

During their John Guare Festival and the World Premiere of Guare's epic Lydie Breeze Trilogy, EgoPo Classic Theater is collaborating with Drexel University's Performing Arts Department for an evening symposium, Future of American Playwriting, Saturday, February 3 at 4 p.m. The panel will feature John Guare and local playwrights Jacqueline Goldfinger, Bruce Graham, and James Ijames. UW Drama presents TROJAN WOMEN: A LOVE STORY by Charles L. Mee

In the spring of 1996, director Tina Landau developed a new play by her longtime collaborator Charles L. Mee with students at the UW School of Drama. The play was Trojan Women: A Love Story, and it premiered in New York that same summer.

Commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Nanking massacre, as well as the first production at the Finborough Theatre building in its 150th anniversary year, the European premiere of Into the Numbers by multi-award-winning American playwright Christopher Chen opens at the Finborough Theatre for a four week limited season on Tuesday, 2 January 2018 (Press Nights: Thursday 4 and Friday 5 January 2018 at 7.30pm).
