Lion Tooth's Theatre Company Announces Summer Production of ROMEO AND JULIET, 6/19 - 6/28

The Lion's Tooth Theatre Company is pleased to announce its first ever production, William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. This production is directed by Joan Lawson. Performances are June 19, 20, 22, 26, 27 &28. The performance starts at 6:00 pm at the SKIDMORE COLLEGE AMPHITHEATER, but please join us at 5:30 for a PRE-SHOW CARNIVAL!

When Artistic & Executive Director Alan Stanford was planning the 2014 PICT season, Managing Director Stephanie Riso suggested the addition of the Beckett classic Waiting for Godot. She knew Alan had a special relationship with this particular work of Beckett, having portrayed Pozzo for the Gate Theatre Dublin's touring production for more than twenty years.

Tonight the Royal Shakespeare Company's Henry IV Part I will begin cinemas screenings across the US. Henry IV Part I was filmed for 'Live from Stratford-upon-Avon,' the RSC program that screens the world's greatest classical theatre company from Shakespeare's home town around the world through a continued partnership with Picturehouse Entertainment. It will be seen in US cinemas from tonight, June 3 - July 3, and was seen in over 315 UK cinemas in May.

Water Works Theatre Company Sets Schedule for 14th Annual Shakespeare Royal Oak

Educational programs return July 28 - August 9 (ROYAL OAK MI) Water Works Theatre Company has announced the schedule and casts for its 14th annual outdoor summer theatre festival, Shakespeare Royal Oak - formerly known as Shakespeare In The Park. The festival begins July 28 in Royal Oak's Starr Jaycee Park and continues through Sunday, August 10. Tickets ($10-$20) are on sale now for Hamlet and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) [Revised] and can be purchased online at www.shakespeareroyaloak.com. A complete Shakespeare Royal Oak performance schedule follows this release. In addition to its outdoor productions, Water Works will also offer performance minded students an opportunity to learn from the experts with the Water Works Academy and KidsAct! July 28 - August 9.
