Post5 Theatre Opens THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHEAKESPEARE [ABRIDGED] – REVISED Tonight

By:

Post5 Theatre is bringing back one of audience and critics' favorites for the third year in a row, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare [abridged] - REVISED. Featuring a new director (Cassandra Boice), new bits (because there are ALWAYS new bits), and a very warm welcome back to Post5 founding member Alex Klein, who will be returning from Los Angeles (where he has a reoccurring role on NBC's Community) to make his Post5 acting debut. To joining him on this romp through Shakespeare's canon are Company favorites Chip Sherman and Ty Boice. This iteration of Complete Works will be in-your-face and quite possibly on-your-lap, and will, of course be done FASTER!

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare [abridged] - REVISED will run approximately one and one-half hours with one 15-minute intermission. The show runs Thursday-Sunday, tonight, June 5th - June 28th at 7:30PM with a special opening night gala and our 5th Season Announcement on June 7th. Tickets are $15 (Sundays are Pay-What-You-Will) and can be purchased at www.postfivetheatre.org/tickets as well as www.boxofficetickets.com. All shows at Post5 Theatre's black box at 850 NE 81st Avenue, Portland Oregon 97213 (entrance on Oregon Street).

On June 7th 2014 Post5 Theatre will announce its selections for its 5th Anniversary Season at a special Grand Opening Night Gala. Beginning at 5:30pm we invite the community to join us for drinks and a social hour. At 6:30pm, Artistic Director Ty Boice will take the stage to announce our 2015 Season. The Bar[d] will be open and we invite our guests to explore the theatre until the performance begins at 7:30pm.

Established in 2011, Post5 Theatre endeavors to hold "the mirror up to nature" for our community by engaging in inventive, effervescent and affordable storytelling inspired by the works of William Shakespeare and contemporary playwrights, to continually renew the magic that is live theatre for new and veteran theatre audiences.

Performances will be held Thursday- Sunday, tonight, June 5th - June 28th (No performances on June 13th and 20th). All shows are at 7:30PM. Tickets are $15 Thurs - Saturday; Sunday is pay-what-you-can. Performances are held at Post5 Theatre's Black-Box Theater, 850 NE 81st Avenue #122, Portland, Oregon 97213.
