In celebration of their 30th Anniversary, Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane, will present the legendary musical Les Miserables, previewing March 29, opening Tuesday, April 8 at 7:30 p.m. and running through June 8, 2014. Directed by multi-Jeff Award winner Rachel Rockwell (Ragtime, The Sound of Music, Sweeney Todd, and Oliver! at Drury Lane Theatre), the cast is led by Ivan Rutherford ('Jean Valjean' in over 2,000 performances of Les Miserables on Broadway, as well as in the 20th anniversary Broadway Revival and The National Tour of Les Miserables, and Titanic on Broadway); Jeff Award-winner Quentin Earl Darrington as 'Javert' (Ragtime on Broadway and at Drury Lane Theatre, Memphis: A New Musical on Broadway and The National Tours of The Lion King, The Color Purple, and Memphis: A New Musical); and Jennie Sophia as 'Fantine' (The National Tour of The Lincoln Center's South Pacific and Oliver! and The Sound of Music at Drury Lane Theatre).

It was announced today that Ramin Karmiloo, now starring as Jean Valjean in Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new production of Alain Boublil & Claude-Michel Schonberg's Tony Award-winning musical Les Miserables on Broadway, will not perform on Thursday evenings starting April 3 for vocal rest. Prior to that, Karimloo will not perform Wednesday matinees on March 19 and 26. In addition, he will not perform from May 19-22 due to pre-existing obligations. During Karimloo's absences, Jean Valjean will be played by Aaron Walpole or Nathaniel Hackmann.

Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new production of Alain Boublil & Claude-Michel Schonberg's Tony Award-winning musical masterpiece Les Miserables will offer a limited number of $37 rush tickets for each performance, available beginning 10 a.m. daily (and noon on Sundays as of March 30) at the Imperial Theatre box-office only (249 West 45th Street).Now in previews, the official opening night for Les Miserables is Sunday, March 23.

The upcoming performance of Winning Works: Choreographers of Color Award by The Joffrey Academy of Dance has changed venues due to last week's electrical fire at the Harris Theater, an event unrelated to the Winning Works production. The production will now take place at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place, 175 E. Chestnut Street, and the date and time of the performance remain unchanged, which is tonight, March 1 at 7:00 pm. Winning Works ticket holders will be notified by the Joffrey Ballet box office staff about the change of venue.

Sierra Repertory Theatre opens its 2014 season this March with the epic Les Miserables. The production - complete with a huge cast, complex characters and elaborate costumes and sets - will also mark the start of SRT's 35th Anniversary season. It plays tonight, March 1 through May 4 at Sierra Rep's East Sonora Stage

The new production of LES MISERABLES at Hale Centre Theatre in West Valley is a feast for the eyes, ears, and soul. It is the most unique (and among the best) of the productions of this show ever in Utah, and it offers enough beauty in every sense of the word for it to be well worth the time and ticket prices. It is implausible that a better LES MISERABLES will be presented here any time soon.

Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF is excited to unveil four of the productions in its highly anticipated 26th Season. Audiences will be inspired by the award-winning music of Les Miserables and challenged by the themes of Mark St. Germain's new play, The Best of Enemies (both part of the Theater's Signature Series). In a world premiere production, Babes With Blades Theatre Company is proud to present L'Imbecile, by Aaron Adair, at Rivendell Theatre, 5779 N. Ridge Ave. in Chicago. Previews will be Saturday, April 5, Thursday April 10, and Friday April 11 at 8PM. The opening is Saturday, April 12 at 8PM, and the show will run Thursdays-Fridays at 8PM and Saturdays at both 4PM and 8PM from April 12-May 10.
