Montreal area theatergoers can enjoy this treat throughout the month of May, in English and French, in three different locales: Ville Saint-Laurent, Laval and Saint-Leonard. This exciting collaboration marks the 5th anniversary of both companies. In Romance and Revolution: Music from LES MISERABLES & More, audiences will enjoy the creativity of Conductor, Andre Gauthier; Stage Director, Coralie Heiler; Vocal Director, Marc Deslandes; and Vocal Ensemble Director, Frederic Vogel. The show plays in English on May 11 and 24 and in French today, May 2 and May 25. This is a great idea for Mother's Day, Sunday, May 11 at 3pm. Sounds' mission is to create family friendly theatre. Origianlly, they were planning on producing a run of Les Miserables for their summer musical. They were working with the licensing agent to try and remove all offensive material in order to make it family friendly. However, according to Local News 8, the show has been canceled.

Drury Lane to Offer Easter Brunch, 4/20

On Sunday, April 20 from 10:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., the newly renovated Drury Lane, 100 Drury Lane, will feature a festive Easter Brunch that diners of all ages will enjoy. Children will have a special opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Following Brunch, guests may also choose to attend the 7:00 p.m. performance of the Tony Award-winning musical, Les Miserables. This April (11-12 & 17-19), Ram's Head Theatrical Society at Stanford University will bring Bay Area audiences a reinvented production of the musical phenomenon Les Miserables. This production will include a special immersive element called the Opera-Going Experience Project. Created by Stanford students specifically for this production, this element seeks to transport the audience to a 19th century opera house and immerse them in the culture surrounding it before, during, and after the show itself.
