Disney Theatrical Productions presents Drew Seeley, star of 'Another Cinderella Story,' as Prince Eric in THE LITTLE MERMAID. Seeley made his Broadway debut in the production last night, Tuesday, June 9th. He will appear though Sunday, August 30th at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater (205 West 46th Street). Drew Seeley joins Broadway's newest 'Ariel' Chelsea Morgan Stock who began performances on Tuesday, June 2nd.

The 2009 MTV Movie Awards were held on Sunday May 31st, 2009. 'Twilight,' the popular vampire drama starring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, scored the golden MTV popcorn trophies for best movie, best fight, best kiss, breakthrough male performance and female performance during the wild ceremony at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California.

Vanessa Hudgens has been cast in 'Beastly,' a modern-day take on Beauty and the Beast, according to Entertainment Tonight. Hudgens will, of course, be playing the 'Beauty' in the film. British actor Alex Pettyfer ('Wild Child,' Alex Rider: Operation Stormbreaker') is reportedly in talks to star as the 'Beast' in the film, which is currently scheduled to begin shooting this summer. The film is directed by Daniel Barnz and produced by Susan Cartsonis in association with CBS Films.

The Associated Press reports that 'High School Musical 3: Senior Year' grabbed top honors at Saturday's Kids' Choice Awards. The Disney musical was selected as the favorite movie by audience votes at the 22nd annual slime-filled Nickelodeon spectacle held inside UCLA's Pauley Pavilion. 'High School Musical' star Vanessa Hudgens was also selected as the favorite movie actress.

In a shock Disney's High School Musical 3: Senior Year was down a whooping 90% from its historic opening a week ago. The film made $1.7 million Friday from 3,626 plays. But then Zac Efron, and those Wildcats staged an amazing comeback, jumping up nearly 400% to grab No. 1 with $8.2 million Saturday for a $15M weekend (including Sunday's estimate of $5.1 million) for a new total of $61.8M
