Barrington Stage Company announced today casting for its 25th Anniversary season. Casting will include Elijah Alexander, Mara Davi, Carson Elrod, Joel de la Fuente, Mykal Kilgore, Alyse Alan Louis, Kate MacCluggage, Jeff McCarthy, Julia Murney, Jonathan Raviv, Debra Jo Rupp and more. Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO) has just announced the world premiere of a new musical Scotland, PA, featuring a Book by Michael Mitnick and Music & Lyrics by Adam Gwon, directed by Lonny Price and choreographed by Josh Rhodes. Scotland, PA is Gwon's Roundabout commission following the debut of his musical Ordinary Days at Roundabout Underground.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presents the National Tour of the Lincoln Center Theater Broadway production of Falsettos, William Finn and James Lapine's groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning musical, June 11-13, 2019 in the Eisenhower Theater.

The Lincoln Center Theater production of William Finn and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical "Falsettos" will begin performances at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre on April 16, 2019. Performances will continue through May 19 with the opening set for April 17.

James Lapine (Co-Author/Director), William Finn (Author) Spencer Liff (Choreographer) and Jordan Roth (Producer) joined the company of the national tour of The Lincoln Center Theater production of FALSETTOS, produced by Jujamcyn Theaters and NETworks Presentations. on stage at the Official Press Opening in San Francisco's SHN Golden Gate Theatre Wednesday, March 20. To commemorate the event, the entire company celebrated at a post-show reception held at Chambers.

Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in the Berkshires (Pittsfield, MA) under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd, announced today its 25th Anniversary season, which will feature four world premieres, including the new musical from BSC's Musical Theatre Lab, Fall Springs by Niko Tsakalakos and Peter Sinn Nachtrieb; America v. 2.1: The Sad Demise & Eventual Extinction of The American Negro by Stacey Rose; American Underground by Brent Askari; and Ragtag Theatre's Hansel and Gretel, commissioned by BSC.

The Original Off-Broadway Cast Recording of The Evolution of Mann is set for digital release on Friday, February 15, 2019 on the Yellow Sound Label.

Multiple award-winning film and theatre lyricist Tim Rice, in conjunction with the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival, will present an industry-only NYC development workshop of his new musical, From Here To Eternity. 

Jujamcyn Theaters and NETworks Presentations announced principal casting for the North American Tour of William Finn and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical FALSETTOS. Leading the National Company will be Broadway superstars Nick Adams (La Cage aux Folles and Priscilla Queen of the Desert) as "Whizzer," Eden Espinosa (Wicked, Brooklyn The Musical and Rent) as "Trina" and Max von Essen (An American in Paris, Tony Award-nominee, Evita and Les Miserables) as "Marvin."

The Evolution of Mann celebrated its opening night last Thursday October 4th at the cell (338 West 23rd Street).  The show began performances on September 25 and will continue performances through October 27.
