MasterVoices, formerly The Collegiate Chorale, was honored at the Martina Arroyo Foundation's11th Annual Gala.MasterVoices was recognized along with American couture designer Joanna Mastroianni and The Michel Maurel award-winner Ernst Rieser. Brian Kellow and Terrance McKnight hosted the gala, with performances by the young artists of Prelude to Performance, Jennifer Rowley, Michele Angelini and Cecilia Violetta Lopez (both featured in the October issue of Opera News), as well as other special guests.

Accompanied by music director Christopher Howatt, Al will regale audiences with stories and anecdotes from his career as an actor and performer, drawing on standards from the stage and screen to tell his story.

Everyone at Nashville's Chaffin's Barn Dinner Theatre is immersed in the trappings of the season, with the opening of Lydia Bushfield's newest Christmas-themed opus, the appropriately entitled Yule, Y'all! The show opened yesterday (nowadays, openings are two-show days at ye ol' Barn, with a matinee that's sure to pack in the audiences, followed by the official opening night just a few hours later) and continues through December 26.

Christopher Sieber, the twice Tony Award-nominated Broadway star of Monty Python's Spamalot, Shrek the Musical and more, has joined DRESS CIRCLE PUBLISHING's special celebration of the new book by Sirius XM radio host SETH RUDETSKY.
