Rebecca Brooksher, Eric Martin Brown & More to Lead Red Bull Theater's LOOT; Full Cast Announced

Red Bull Theater presents the first-ever Off Broadway revival of Loot by Joe Orton. Red Bull Artistic Director Jesse Berger directs a company that includes Rebecca Brooksher (Fay), Eric Martin Brown (Meadows), Jarlath Conroy (McLeavy), Ryan Garbayo (Dennis), Rocco Sisto (Truscott), and Nick Westrate (Hal). Loot will have scenic design by Narelle Sissons, costume design by Sara Jean Tosetti, lighting design by Scott Zielinski, and sound design by Brad Berridge.

Bushwick Starr to Present THE ARGUMENT & PLAYS, 12/19-21

The Bushwick Starr will present an evening of two short works performed by award-winning and treasured actor, David Greenspan. Based on Aristotle's Poetics and the essays of Gerald F. Else, The Argument is a passionate student's love-letter and farewell to his teacher -- reminding us of the personal pathos that binds us to the Greeks, and firing us to capture that chimera, art. Plays is Gertrude Stein's whimsical and provocative lecture on theatre; a hidden gem of theatricality and wit that only Stein could have delivered. *The Argument was first presented by Target Margin Theater, and Plays was first presented by The Foundry Theatre.

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Ilene, Randy, and Todd Graff, and Nikka Graff Lanzarone in "The Graff Family Holiday Special," on Saturday, December 14th at 11 P.M., and in a sold out show on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 7 P.M. This talented family will perform a host of holiday favorites and tunes from their various forays on the Great White Way in the tradition of the Andy Williams Christmas specials that mesmerized them as children. Expect tight, four-part harmonies, color coordinated hats and mufflers, indoor sleigh rides, audience participation, mistletoe, and plenty of high belting.

Transport Group, the Drama Desk and OBIE award-winning theatre company, has announced that Almost, Maine, written by John Cariani and directed by Jack Cummings III, and I Remember Mama, written by John Van Druten and directed by Mr. Cummings, will comprise the company's 2013-14 season. Both productions will take place at the Gym at Judson, 243 Thompson Street, where Transport Group will now be in residency.

Monthly Series "Music at the Mansion" Will Be Held at Oakeside 10/27

NiCori Studios and Productions in association with Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center announces a new installment of the monthly concert series, "Music at the Mansion", on Sunday, October 27, at 3pm. Performers include Gas Lamp Players' cast of The Secret Garden, Tracy Stark, and DC Anderson. The featured performer in the "Young Musician Moment" will be Lauren Barr. Gas Lamp Players will be presenting the Broadway Musical, The Secret Garden, November 22-24. The Secret Garden tells the story of Mary Lennox, a young girl orphaned during the cholera epidemic in India, who is sent to live on a mysterious estate in Yorkshire, England. The estate's many wonders include a magic garden which beckons the children with haunting melodies, and the "Dreamers," spirits from Mary's past, who guide her through her new life, dramatizing The Secret Garden's compelling tale. Based on the famous novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, the stunning musical score and classic story combine to create a powerful and uplifting theatrical experience about the healing power of the earth, which allows for love to grow, heal and flourish. Pianist/Arranger/Conductor/SingerSongwriter and Miranda Recording Artist, Tracy Stark is a 6-time MAC Award winner, in the categories of Music Director, Piano Bar Entertainer, and Song of the Year. She is also a Bistro Award winner for Musical Direction, and winner of the Dottie Burman Songwriter of the Year Award. Tracy has worked with Lesley Gore, Phoebe Snow, Karen Black, Randy Jones (Village People), Barb Jungr, Eric Millegan, Tonya Pinkins, Ann Crumb, Marni Nixon, and hundreds of other rock, jazz, and broadway vocalists. She has conducted, played, and sung at all the finest and the sleaziest venues all over the world. She has played/conducted on numerous television shows, including The Today Show. Her songs are included on at least 20 different compilations, and have been winning accolades in songwriting competitions for the past 2 decades.

Richard Topol Stars as Yogi Berra in Primary Stages' BRONX BOMBERS, Beg. Tonight

Primary Stages has announced that Richard Topol (Broadway's The Normal Heart, The Merchant of Venice) will assume the role of Yogi Berra in their World Premiere production of Bronx Bombers, written and directed by Tony Award nominee Eric Simonson (Broadway's Lombardi). Due to artistic differences, Joe Pantoliano, initially announced to play the role of Yogi Berra, will not continue with the production. The production has delayed its first performance to tonight, September 20. Opening night remains scheduled for October 8 at 7pm. Bronx Bombers runs through October 19 at Primary Stages at The Duke on 42nd Street.

The William & Eva Fox Foundation and Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, have announced the eighth round of Fox Foundation Resident Actor Fellowship recipients. The program is designed to support actors' professional and artistic development, to enrich relationships between actors and nonprofit theatres and to ensure continued professional commitment to live theatre. Funded by the Fox Foundation and administered by TCG, the fellowship is one of only a few programs of its kind for actors in the country.
