The Kennedy Center presents the world premiere production of Orphie and the Book of Heroes in the Family Theater, February 8 - 23, 2014.

Red Bull Theater presents the Off Broadway revival of Loot by Joe Orton. Red Bull Artistic Director Jesse Berger directs a company that includes Rebecca Brooksher (Fay), Eric Martin Brown (Meadows), Jarlath Conroy (McLeavy), Ryan Garbayo (Dennis), Rocco Sisto (Truscott), and Nick Westrate (Hal). Loot has scenic design by Narelle Sissons, costume design by Sara Jean Tosetti, lighting design by Scott Zielinski, and sound design by Brad Berridge. Opening Thursday January 16th, this limited engagement continues through February 9th only at Lucille Lortel Theater (121 Christopher Street).

Transport Group Theatre Company presents ALMOST, MAINE, A Romantic Comedy by John Cariani, directed by Jack Cummings III. Previews begin January 21, with Opening Night set for February 4. The closing performance will be held on February 23, 2014.

Muny Executive Producer Mike Isaacson announced today the directors, choreographers and music directors for the Muny's 2014 Season, which opens on June 16 with Billy Elliot The Musical. "We're so happy these exciting artists are creating our 2014 season," said Isaacson. "This is a challenging season, one with incredible variety and power. The Off Broadway Alliance will again sponsor 20at20, the bi-annual celebration of Off Broadway. The popular promotion, which begins January 21st and continues through February 9th, makes $20 tickets available for 48 Off Broadway plays and musicals twenty minutes prior to curtain. Now in its 8th year, 20at20 has become one of New York's most eagerly-anticipated promotions for budget-conscious theatre-goers.

Geva Theatre Center' 41st Season continues with Last Gas by John Cariani. Directed by Skip Greer, this romantic comedy full of heart and humor begins performances tonight, January 7 and runs in the Elaine P. Wilson Mainstage through February 2.

Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15 St.) has announced that tickets to the new musical ARLINGTON by Victor Lodato and Polly Pen -- with previews set to begin Wednesday, February 12 prior to its official opening night on Sunday, March 2 - will go on sale Monday, January 6 at 1 p.m..

Transport Group, the Drama Desk and OBIE award-winning theatre company, has announced complete casting for the upcoming revival of Almost, Maine, written by John Cariani and directed by Jack Cummings III. Alongside playwright Cariani who will play one of the roles, Almost, Maine will feature Donna Lynne Champlin, Kevin Isola, and Kelly McAndrew. Previews begin Tuesday, January 21 at the Gym at Judson, 243 Thompson Street at West 4 Street. Opening night is set forTuesday, February 4. Almost, Maine is scheduled to run through Sunday, February 23.
