Since their inception in 1996, the Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Awards for Excellence in High School Musical Theatre presented by the Investors Foundation have ignited the careers of many notable performers, all of whom attended high school in New Jersey.

Paper Mill Playhouse partners with Jersey Cares as a collection site for their winter coat drive. New and gently used coats can be brought during the run of Paper Mill Playhouse's production of Annie, now through December 31. Performances begin Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at 7:00 p.m., for a limited run through Sunday, December 31, 2017, at Paper Mill Playhouse (22 Brookside Drive) in Millburn, NJ.
