"Poetry/Cabaret" (Time Out NY-recommended) is a quarterly variety show that brings together poets and performers in an evening of wild variations on a theme. Joining us onstage to celebrate all things 'PROUD' will be-poets Christina Quintana (CQ), David Eye, & Timothy Liu; singers Daphne Always & Samara Ariel Ehrlich; and comedians Ashley Gavin and Jay Jurden-with Drew Wutke on piano. This fast-paced, multi-genre variety show keeps the audience on its toes-get ready for a heartbreaking and hilarious evening of emotional whiplash!

Sit under Bryant Park's London Plane trees and enjoy evening poetry readings throughout the summer! Started in 2005, the Bryant Park Poetry series has created a space dedicated to poetry. Bryant Park Reading Room literary programs have been a conduit for creative writing expression, and that has enabled a dialogue based on diverse perspectives. The Poetry series has the good fortune to be a platform to hear a variety of poetry voices that reflect the community in which we live.

Friday at 8:30 PM the Festival kicks off with Peter Van Huffel, voice with Peter Van Huffel alto and soprano saxophones; Samuel Blaser on trombone and Michael Bates, bass on Friday at 8:30 PM. At 9:45 PM Ivo Perelman, Daniel Levin and Reuben Radding with 'Soulstorm.' At 11:00 PM RED trio + Nate Wooley 'RED trio' will perform.
