Just last night at the 76th Annual Tony Awards, Sean Hayes took home a Tony Award for 'Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play' for his outstanding work on Good Night, Oscar (currently running at the Belasco Theatre). After leaving the stage at the United Palace, Sean checked it with BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge to share his initial reaction!

Good Night, Oscar starring Emmy Award-winning actor Sean Hayes, is running now at  Broadway's Belasco Theatre. In celebration of the actor's acclaimed turn as Oscar Levant in the new play from Doug Wright, Sean has been honored with his very own Sardi's portrait! See photos from his unveiling celebration!

Comedy returns to Samuel Slater's Restaurant in Webster, MA on Saturday, May 20, 2023. Hosted by Jackie Flynn, the show will feature Paul D'Angelo plus special guest Jeff Koen for a night of laughs. Doors open at 6:30 PM; show starts at 7:30 PM.

Desert Theatreworks' (DTW's) hilarious production of THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG generates uproarious laughs at least once or twice a minute; I actually wanted the laughs to slow down because laughing so much made me cough. This show is a must-see.

This production really had some great character roles including Shannon Connolly's eternally optimistic, Sister Mary Patrick, Jim Johnson’s enthusiastic Monsignor, and Joshua James Crawford’s TJ who was one part JJ Evans, one part George Jefferson, one part Rerun, and 100% hilarious.

London transfer of New York hit comedy gathers a few laughs, but feels out of step with the times

MIKE JUDGE’S BEAVIS & BUTT-HEAD stars the voices of creator Mike Judge (“King of the Hill”), Piotr Michael (Lightyear), as well as Chris Diamantopoulos (The Three Stooges), Kosha Patel (“The Newsroom”), Jayden Libran (“The Happytime Murders”), Mary Birdsong (“Succession”), Brian Huskey (“Veep”), Tru Valentino (“The Rookie”), and more.

The Drowsy Chaperone is a musical comedy, about a musical within a comedy, featuring music and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison. With a book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar, this musical tells the story of a fictional 1928 musical. The story itself centers around a character, 'Man in Chair,' as he describes to the audience his trepidations in life and this overwhelming feeling of sadness and foreboding which he calls 'Blue.' So over the course of two hours the 'Man in Chair,' takes the audience on a journey using the only thing he knows that will cheer him up, his love of Musical Theatre tunes, specifically classics such as The Drowsy Chaperone.

The Missoula Community Theatre will kick off the 2022-2023 season with The Addams Family, October 20-30 at the MCT Center for the Performing Arts. This ghoulish musical comedy is reminiscent of the 1960’s television series, featuring characters you know, love and may even find to be creepy!

What did our critic think of 'WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT' EINSTEIN'S WRONG ABOUT EVERYTHING at The Overtime Theater?

If this Avignon season's other marathon project, the 13-hour Nid de Cendres, calls to mind a jewel box, Ma Jeunesse Exaltée calls to mind bathroom stall graffiti. The ten-hour long burlesque serves as the capstone to Olivier Py's tenure as artistic director of the Festival d'Avignon. In it he passes the baton, not to Avignon's next artistic director Tiago Rodrigues, but to a new generation of vibrant performers. Amongst this new generation is the indefatigable Bertrand de Roffignac, who performs a staggering harlequin marathon. Through the run time of the performance he never falters in precision or intensity. Indeed, on a scale of one to ten, the entire ensemble never lets the their work calm itself down past and eleven.

Those Women Productions is pleased to stage its production of House of Desires (Los empeños de una casa) by the 17th century Mexican poet, playwright, and theologian, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, in a translation by Catherine Boyle (written for the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2004).
