Stable Cable Lab Co. will present Max Baker's un-romantic comedy, Because Me. The production will play a limited engagement at the Wild Project (195 East 3rd Street between Avenues A and B) October 28-November 7. Performances will be October 29, 30, & 31, November 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, & 7 at 7:30pm, Saturday, October 31 & November 7 at 2pm, and Monday, November 2 at 1pm. Tickets ($2-$20) can be purchased in advance at www.stablecablelabco.org or by calling OvationTix at(866) 811-4111. Tickets are being sold on a sliding scale, with the price increasing $2 every performance day. 

The Old Globe opens its 2015-2016 Season with IN YOUR ARMS, a World Premiere dance-theatre musical featuring direction and choreography by Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli (Newsies, Godspell, Lincoln Center Theater's The King and I and South Pacific) and original music by Tony Award winner Stephen Flaherty (Ragtime, Once on This Island; two-time Oscar nominee for Anastasia). The production begins tonight, September 16, with an opening slated for September 24, and runs through October 25, 2015.

A chance for fans who are passionate about theatre and social media to attend a special performance of the world premiere production of Robert O'Hara's BARBECUE.

Yale Repertory Theatre opens its 2015-16 season with the world premiere of INDECENT, a new play with music, written by Paula Vogel, created by Paula Vogel and Rebecca Taichman, and directed by Rebecca Taichman, at the University Theatre (222 York Street), October 2-24. Opening Night is Thursday, October 8. The world premiere of INDECENT is a co-production with La Jolla Playhouse, where it will play November 13-December 10.

The Dirty Blondes present an extended run of THE AMERICAN PLAY, an American Psycho themed drama/thriller byAshley J. Jacobson as part of the 2015 Fringe Encore Series starting Thursday, September 17 at SoHo Playhouse. Darren Johnston directs. The cast includes Michael DeBartolo, John Charles Nagy and Jen Jacob (HBO's Girls).

This fall, Joe's Pub at The Public welcomes a slate of shows that redefine entertainment.

The Public Theater will begin previews for the world premiere of BARBECUE on Tuesday, September 22. Written by Obie Award winner Robert O'Hara and directed by Kent Gash, BARBECUE runs through Sunday, November 1, with an official press opening on Thursday, October 8. Theater for the New City presents BIKE SHOP, The Musical starring Elizabeth Barkan and directed by Gretchen Cryer starting at TNC's Cino Theater tonight, September 11th, and running thru September 27th. The libretto is by Elizabeth Barkan with lyrics by Caroline Murphy and music by Youn-Young Park. Gerry Deiffenbach is Musical Director.

Back by popular demand, Sonia Olla Flamenco Dance Company will return to New York City tonight,, September 11 through Sunday, September 13 to the Theater at the 14th Street Y with two programs highlighting the diversity of Spanish Flamenco.  

The Huntington Theatre Company opens its 2015-2016 season with the Tony Award-winning musical A Little Night Music, Stephen Sondheim's most romantic and popular work, led by Tony and Olivier nominee Haydn Gwynne, as well as Broadway's Stephen Bogardus and Lauren Molina. Huntington Artistic Director Peter DuBois (after all the terrible things I do; Smart People; Rapture, Blister, Burn; and Becky Shaw) will direct. Performances will run tonight, September 11, through October 11, 2015 at the Avenue of the Arts / BU Theatre.
