Imagination Stage will bring back its popular production of Aquarium for its youngest patrons, December 17, 2013, through January 26, 2014. Aquarium was developed by Lyngo Theatre and premiered in January 2011 under the direction of Patrick Lynch and Pietro Chiarenza.

Florida Studio Theatre's Education Department is offering a free introductory class for students ages 7-12. The class will take place on Saturday, November 2 from 12:30pm - 1:30pm in FST's rehearsal studios in downtown Sarasota. Space is limited and reservations are required. Pioneer Theatre Company presents the Pulitzer Prize-nominated drama Other Desert Cities October 25 - November 9, 2013.

On Sunday, October 20 at 2pm, the Warner Theatre will present Jack Lynn in a tribute to Dean Martin.

New City Stage Company will be opening the 2013-14 season with "RFK", a play about the last 4 years of Senator Robert F. Kennedy's life. The show also began the 2012-13 season and was one of the biggest hits New City Stage has had, selling out out 18 performances in a row and extending 2 weeks. The show is written by Jack Holmes, who grew up in the Philadelphia area and performed in the original production. It is directed by New City Sage Founding Artistic Director Ginger Dayle and stars Producing Artistic Director Russ Widdall as Bobby Kennedy. The show runs October 31 until November 24, 2013 at the Adrienne Theatre Second Stage, with the possibility of an extension. November 7-10, Pontine Theatre kicks off its 36th season with performances by California-based artists, Conrad Bishop and Elizabeth Fuller, in their original production, GIFTS at Pontine's West End Studio Theatre, 959 Islington St, Portsmouth NH. Mr. Bishop and Ms. Fuller are the founding directors of The Independent Eye Theatre, located in Sabastopol, California. Performances are offered on Thursday and Friday at 7:30pm, Saturday at 4pm, and Sunday at 2pm. Tickets are $24 and may be purchased online: www.pontine.org. UglyRhino Productions will present TinyRhino: Horror Movie Edition on Tuesday, October 29th at 8 p.m. Come celebrate Halloween with six spooky new plays by up and coming playwrights and directors that pay homage to the classic horror movie genre.

The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis (The Rep) opens its 2013-2014 Studio Theatre series with the insightful play Freud's Last Sessionby Mark St. Germain and inspired by the book The Question of God by Dr. Armand M. Nicholi, Jr. This engaging production will be performed in the Emerson Studio Theatre at the Loretto-Hilton Center for the Performing Arts, 130 Edgar Road (on the campus of Webster University), Webster Groves, October 30-November 24, 2013.

The world premiere of Love Your Soldiers - a moving and thought-provoking new drama by Robin Hooper - takes to the Studio Theatre stage from Thursday 31 October - Sat 23 November, directed by Sheffield Theatres' Associate Director Richard Wilson.

WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced that submissions for the 13th annual Out of the Loop Fringe Festival will be accepted starting October 14. Submissions must be received no later than November 15. Participants will be notified of their acceptance into the festival by January 3, 2014.

With his signature humorous glow, playwright David Lindsay-Abaire uses 'Good People' to explore the struggles, shifting loyalties and unshakeable hopes that come with having next to nothing in America. Variety proclaimed when the show opened on Broadway in 2011 that 'If 'Good People' isn't a hit, there is no justice in the land.'

Junkets Publishers has announced the publication of BULLETS OVER BISHOP LAVIS by Christo Davids and Jody Abrahams. This is the second in the four-volume New Voices Series of recent South African plays. New Voices brings together play scripts of interesting theatre pieces that are performed in alternative and smaller theatre venues like studio theatres, church halls and old warehouse buildings.

THE OTHER MOZART, a solo play set inside an 18-foot dress, examines the life of Nannerl Mozart - the music prodigy who was once praised equally with her brother, but who faded away into history's oblivion.

Toronto's acclaimed Theatre Gargantua (TG) started rehearsals this week for its world premiere of The Sacrifice Zone, marking the Canadian debut of Australian playwright Suzie Miller of The Uncertainty Principle and the culmination of the company's tenth cycle of work. Directed by Jacquie P.A. Thomas, Artistic Director of Theatre Gargantua, The Sacrifice Zone is a dynamic investigation into the harrowing pursuit of justice after a fatal explosion in an industry town dedicated to resource extraction. The Sacrifice Zone opens November 14 and runs to November 30 (previews November 13) at the Factory Studio Theatre.

The year is 1961. In Ireland, things are bleak. The Catholic Church rules the lives of ordinary people. There is no compassion for sins involving sex. Unmarried girls who 'fall' are driven to desperate measures. Everyone knows someone who 'got into trouble' and the consequences. In the sewing factory, the girls try to forget. They laugh, worship Elvis and dream of films, pop music, fashion and happy-ever-after.

Artistic Director Les Waters and Managing Director Jennifer Bielstein are delighted to announce that Lucas Hnath's new play, The Christians, will receive its world premiere at Actors Theatre during the 38th Humana Festival of New American Plays. The Christians, which was commissioned by Actors Theatre of Louisville, will be directed by Les Waters and performed in the Pamela Brown Auditorium. The production will begin previews on March 4, open on March 6 and run through April 6, 2014.

We're baa-aack! After a yearlong hiatus to overhaul the company, Molotov Theatre Group, DC's only horror- and suspense-related theatre, is bringing its singularly twisted vision to 'Extremities,' by William Mastrosimone. The show runs Thursdays through Sundays, tonight, October 10-November 3 at 7:30 PM at the DC Arts Center.

IATI Theater has announced the World Premiere of Light of Night, written by Cecilia Copeland and directed by Mariana Carreño King. Light of Night will run for only 12 performances at IATI Theater (64 East 4th Street). Performances begin tonight, October 10th and continue through Sunday, October 27th. All performances will be in English.
