After a sold-out stint at The Cutting Room, the BROADWAY SINGS concert series will reprise their latest installment, Broadway Sings Bruno Mars, at the Highline Ballroom on July 20th at 8pm. Some of Broadway's current, brightest talents will again sing completely new arrangements of the hits of funk superstar Bruno Mars, accompanied by a full band playing brand new, original orchestrations of the singer's greatest songs. Previous shows in the series included Adele, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, Justin Timberlake, and P!NK.

The world premiere production of MARLEY, the first original musical based on both the life and music of Bob Marley, began rehearsals March 24 at Center Stage, the State Theater of Maryland. MARLEY is now running through June 14. Check out photos from the opening night party below!

Last week, twenty of the brightest talents on Broadway were featured in Broadway Sings Bruno Mars, the latest concert in the Broadway Sings concert series. This July, producer Corey Mach (Godspell, Wicked) and music director Joshua Stephen Kartes will present an encore performance of Broadway Sings Bruno Mars at the Highline Ballroom. Quincy Jones presents Lee England Jr., The Soul Violinist, for a one-night-only concert on Monday, June 22 at 7:00pm in the Gil Cates Theater at the Geffen Playhouse.  This event serves as a fundraiser for Geffen Playhouse's education and outreach programs.  England, a stunning, one-of-a-kind musician, blends the diverse genres of hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and classical to create original interpretations.

The Spire Center for Performing Arts, the entertainment mecca of Plymouth, presents The Greg Hopkins Jazz Orchestra with special guest vocalist Renese King, on Thursday, June 25, 8 pm, sponsored by Rockland Trust, at The Spire Center for Performing Arts, 25 ½ Court Street, Plymouth.

Eddie Cooper replaces his father Chuck Cooper, who will be starring in the upcoming Broadway musical Amazing Grace.

Tickets for the West End production of Motown the Musical, opening at the Shaftesbury Theatre in February 2016, are released for sale today (15 May 2015).  With music and lyrics from the legendary Motown catalogue and book by Motown founder Berry Gordy, Motown the Musical is directed by Charles Randolph-Wright.  London previews will begin on 11 February 2016 with press night on 8 March 2016 with the show booking to 22 October 2016.  Casting and further information about Motown the Musical will be released shortly.

As previously announced, MOTOWN THE MUSICAL will be shakin' it in the West End next spring. And now The Daily Mail has revealed the musical's dates at the Shaftesbury Theatre. Directed by Charles Randolph-Wright, the show is set to begin previews on February 11, with an opening slated for March 8, 2015.
