The LA-based soul and funk singer Nikka Costa has just released her third single “It’s Just Love” after returning from a six-year hiatus with 'Dirty Disco' and “Keep It High”. “It’s Just Love” is “a song about being able to love who you want and everyone else should just mind their own damn business. I remember seeing a remarkable, ten-year-old Michael Jackson with his brothers on Sunday’s Ed Sullivan Show in the late 1960s.  He was a heck of a performer even then.   It seems remarkable that the man that little boy became passed away more than fifteen years ago. More unbelievably, Michael would be eligible this year for Social Security and Medicare.

The Henry Mancini family continues to celebrate what would have been the late legendary composer’s 100th birthday with the announcement of The Henry Mancini 100th Sessions – Henry Has Company. The album is the latest installment in what will be a year-long endeavor honoring the 20-time GRAMMY® and 4-time Academy Award winner whose centennial is being celebrated on April 16th. The Henry Mancini 100th Sessions – Henry Has Company will be available June 21st via Primary Wave, and the first single, “Peter Gunn,” featuring Quincy Jones, John Williams, Herbie Hancock, and Arturo Sandoval, is out now. Peter Jöback has released a new record, Atlas, and tonight was the first time he played all the songs live in. At the winter concerts in 2023, we got a first glimps of his new sound when he played the title song Atlas.  In total there are ten new songs on the album, all which he has co-written with Ed Harcourt and Kathryn Williams and they have created a British pop sound that suits Peter vocice and style very well.
