Colt Coeur is thrilled to announce that Zurich, a new play by Amelia Roper and directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt (The Women's Project's What We're Up Against, Colt Coeur's Dry Land), will make its world premiere as part of the company's 2017-2018 season. Presented as part of New York Theatre Workshop's inaugural NEXT DOOR series, Zurich will begin performances on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at The Fourth Street Theatre (located at 79 East 4th Street, between Cooper Square and 2nd Avenue), with a final performance set for May 5, 2018. Opening night has been set for Tuesday, April 17, 2018

Mike Faist's final performance in Dear Evan Hansen will be Sunday, May 13. Alex Boniello will join the company as Connor Murphy beginning Tuesday, May 15. Additionally, Will Roland will play his final performance as Jared Kleinman on Sunday, June 10. It has yet to be announced who will take over as Jared.

In January 2018, Broadway Across Canada announced the three musical productions coming to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre as part of the company's 2018-2019 season. The American Theatre Wing just presented the 2018 Jonathan Larson® Grants recipients are Jay Adana (music and lyrics), Andrew R. Butler & Andrew Farmer (music, lyrics, and book), Emily Kaczmarek& Zoe Sarnak (music, lyrics, and book), and Mark Sonnenblick(music and lyrics). Four prestigious, unrestricted grants of $10,000 each, as well as additional support in the form of residencies, concerts, and recording grants, totaling over $48,000 were given at a private event at the WNYC Greene Space.

Broadway In Boston, Boston's mainstage for Broadway, has unveiled the upcoming 2018-2019 Lexus Broadway Season during its annual spring announcement event at the Boston Opera House.  Eleven theatrical productions will take center stage at the Boston Opera House and the Emerson Colonial Theatre.  Over 1500 people from around the city gathered for the annual celebration including Broadway In Boston's Season ticket holders, group leaders, arts and business leaders, city officials, partners from around the city, sponsors and the Boston media.  Highlights from the day included live performances from cast members of DEAR EVAN HANSEN, ROALD DAHL'S CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, SCHOOL OF ROCK and A BRONX TALE.  

DEAR EVAN HANSEN Will Be Turned Into Young Adult Novel; Release Set for This Fall

According to the New York Times, Dear Evan Hansen will soon be turned into a young adult novel. Author Val Emmich has teamed with the hit musical's creators to create a page-turning work of fiction from the hit musical.
