On Monday March 20, TDF honored the entire production of Kinky Boots with a one-night-only concert TDF HONORS KINKY BOOTS to raise funds for TDF's access and education programs. Composer Cyndi Lauper and director/choreographer Jerry Mitchell welcomed the crowd followed by performances by the show's original stars Billy Porter, Annaleigh Ashford and Stark Sands, former "Lolas" Todrick Hall and Alan Mingo, Jr.; former "Lauren" Jeanna de Waal, former "Charlie" Andy Kelso, the entire current Broadway cast and "Angels' from previous casts.

Four of the brilliant stars who lit up the Broadway stage as 'Lola' in the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, Kinky Boots - Billy Porter, Wayne Brady, Alan Mingo, Jr. and Todrick Hall - will all be appearing at a special one-night-only concert fundraiser in support of Theatre Development Fund's (TDF) education and access programs as TDF HONORS Kinky Boots on Monday, March 20 at 8pm at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street, NYC).

Abingdon Theatre Company has added Lindsay Mendez and Sally Ann Triplett to its benefit reading of Orson Welles' WAR OF THE WORLDS. The one-night only event, directed by Abingdon's Artistic Director Tony Speciale, will be held on Monday, October 24 at 7:00pm at NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts (566 LaGuardia Place, NYC). The 2016 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway were handed out last night to recipients in 18 categories, with two special awards and two honorary awards also bestowed. The Lortel Awards were distributed in a ceremony at NYU Skirball Center hosted byZachary Levi, star of Broadway's She Loves Me. This year's event was once again a benefit for The Actors Fund. BroadwayWorld is taking to backstage with the evening's winners and presenters below!
