Arcola Theatre in association with Maya Ellis today announce the full cast for the world premiere of Gabriel Gbadamosi's Stop and Search. Artistic Director of the Arcola Mehmet Ergen directs Munashe Chirisa (Akim), Tyler Luke Cunningham (Lee), David Kirkbride (Tone), Shaun Mason (Tel) and Jessye Romeo (Bev). The production opens on 14 January, with previews from 9 January, and runs until 9 February.

The Bronx Museum of the Arts is pleased to announce its 2019 Benefit Gala and Art Auction, honoring Hank Willis Thomas, Eric Gottesman, and For Freedoms, alongside Junko Kobayashi, President of the Stan Lee Foundation. The annual benefit and auction supports the museum's programming and exhibitions, free admission, and educational programs that reach more than 12,000 Bronx youth every year. This is the museum's first gala under the leadership of Executive Director Deborah Cullen.

Sony Music proudly announces the release of SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) featuring original music by multiple Golden Globe nominee Daniel Pemberton. The soundtrack will be released digitally and on CD on December 17, 2018. Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animations' Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will debut in U.S. theaters on December 14.

Marvel Studios' announced today that the trailer for CAPTAIN MARVEL will debut on ESPN's “Monday Night Football” tomorrow, Monday, December 3, during halftime of the National Football League (NFL) game between the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field. The writers are nominated for their work in the 30-minute Comedy, 60-minute Drama, Children's Teleplay, Independent Feature Film, Drama Feature Film, Comedy Feature Film, Family Feature Film and Documentary categories. The HUMANITAS Prize was created to honor film and television writers whose work inspires compassion, hope, and understanding in the human family.

Owner of the Holiday Inn Express, Stony Brook and Three Village Community Activist John C. Tsunis will be joined by President of the Tri-State Stan Lee Fan Club Charlie Ziegler, Stony Brook Community Leaders, Stony Brook University students and marvel enthusiasts, dressed in costumes of the famous Marvel characters, today, November 15, 2018 at 5PM. Mourning fans, enthusiasts, and community members will light candles in honor of Lee, who died at age 95, as a Long Island Icon and the most famous member of the Stony Brook community. The hotel will be showing his movies on all televisions in his honor. Lifelong Marvel fans will show off action figures, comic books, collectible items and more which are often-considered relics and one of a kind. The first I-Con, where fans were dressed as Marvel Characters and traveled the campus, was held at Stony Brook University.

Netflix Announces Season 3 Premiere of THE LAST KINGDOM

For the first time, all ten episodes of The Last Kingdom will premiere simultaneously on Netflix, and will feature a host of new characters including Ola Rapace (Skyfall) as Danish warrior Bloodhair, Thea Sofie Loch Næss (One Night in Oslo) as the dangerous seer Skade, Timothy Innes (Harlots) as King Alfred's heir, Edward, and Magnus Bruun (Sprinter Galore, The Bridge) as Cnut.
