The Daily Mail reports that renowned stage director Trevor Nunn will helm the upcoming stage adaptation of FATAL ATTRACTION, to begin previews on March 8 for a March 25, 2014 opening. Nunn and producer Robert Fox will begin casting shortly.

West Side Story, one of the greatest love stories of all time, is currently running at the Ogunquit Playhouse stage through September 28. This all new production of the timeless classic, helmed by Broadway veteran director BT McNicholl, mesmerizes audiences of all ages from the first note to the final breath. With a set designed exclusively for the Ogunquit Playhouse by Michael Schweikardt, an extraordinary cast and an iconic score soaring throughout, theatre goers will fall in love with West Side Story all over again. La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts & McCoy Rigby Entertainment will present the first production in its 2013-1014 season of shows, the Tony Award-winning play, BROADWAY BOUND, written by Neil Simon and directed by Jeff Maynard. BROADWAY BOUND will preview tonight, September 20, 2013 (with a press opening on Saturday, September 21) and run through Sunday, October 13, 2013 at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Blvd in La Mirada.

Amphibian Stage Productions today announced casting for its final main stage production of the 2013 season, Death Tax by Lucas Hnath. Georgia Clinton, Stormi Demerson, John Forkner, and Laurel Whitsett will star in this dark comedy, running Thursday, October 17 through Sunday, November 10 at Amphibian's theater at 120 S. Main Street. Rene Moreno will direct the production.

East West Players (EWP), the nation's largest producing organization of Asian American artistic work and the longest-running professional theatre of color in the country, opens its 48th Anniversary Season, themed Making Light, with 'Steel Magnolias,' by Robert Harling. New Repertory Theatre announces the National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere of Steven Dietz' dark comedy RANCHO MIRAGE, October 12 through November 3, 2013.
