Typical Bertie Wooster philosophy, and it generally serves him pretty well. But what happens when what he wants drives his trusted valet Jeeves to the brink? The result is classic British comedy at is funniest, in Mark Richard's adaptation of the P. G. Wodehouse book Thank You, Jeeves, beginning a 6-week run at Stage West on Thursday, August 22. The Muny presents the final show of its fantastic 95th Season, West Side Story, directed by Gordon Greenberg and choreographed by Chris Bailey. The Muny announced principal casting for the final show of its fantastic 95th Season, West Side Story, directed by Gordon Greenberg and choreographed by Chris Bailey. West Side Story will be performed August 5 - 11, and is sponsored by BMO Harris.

WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin has announced the co-production of Red Hot Patriot: the Kick-Ass Wit of Molly Ivins with Stage West, running August 18 -September 29, 2013 in the Studio Theatre at the Addison Theatre Centre. Georgia Clinton reprises her performance as the well-known Texas journalist Molly Ivins.

It's been called one of the best and most beloved musicals of all time, the award-winning West Side Story now comes to the Centenary Stage. This timeless musical launched Stephen Sondheim's Broadway career and with help of other creative geniuses like Jerome Robbins and Leonard Bernstein, it has become a classic in the American theatrical repertoire. The New Jersey Youth Theatre will be celebrating the 10th Anniversary of their award-winning production by bringing a new group of talented young-adult actors that Director Cynthia Meryl calls 'the future of Broadway' to the Lackland Center to showcase the phenomenal training that NJYT provides. Performances will take place August 2nd - 11th at the Sitnik Theatre in the David and Carol Lackland Center at 715 Grand Avenue in Hackettstown.

East West Players (EWP), the nation's largest producing organization of Asian American artistic work and the longest-running professional theatre of color in the country, opens its 48th Anniversary Season, themed Making Light, with "Steel Magnolias," by Robert Harling. "Steel Magnolias" will be directed by Laurie Woolery.

Featuring a cast of 16 LAWSC favorites and talented newcomers - including producing artistic director and celebrated Shakespearean actressLisa Wolpe in the title role and award-winning film, television and theatrical star Eve Gordon as Gertrude - Hamlet opens for press on Aug. 30 at the Odyssey Theatre in West L.A.

The Mad Lover In Me Is The Crazy Artist In You, based on the real-life adventures of two eccentric expatriates who find love in New York City and transform their private lives into a public exhibit of mischief and art, will play Dixon Place tonight, July 10.

New Jersey Youth Theatre's production of West Side Story is part of Centenary Stage Company's Jammin' in July Summer Concert Series, which will also include An Evening With Groucho, Masters of Motown, and The Paragon Ragtime Orchestra with a Flex Pass available to all FOUR events at $90.00 per person.

Dallas Theater Center presents the world premiere of Fly, a new musical based on J.M. Barrie's novel, Peter Pan. Three-time Tony Award-winning producer Jeffrey Seller (Rent, Avenue Q, In the Heights) makes his directorial debut with this production.

San Diego REPertory Theatre (San Diego REP) in partnership with the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) will present "In the Heights" by Quiara Alegria Hudes as the first production of the company's 38th season. The Tony and Grammy Award-winning production was conceived by and with music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, and the San Diego REP production is directed by Sam Woodhouse and starring Jai Rodriguez.

In the video below, the West End cast of the Matilda The Musical takes part in the celebrations for the 25th anniversary of Roald Dahl's creation, Matilda, featuring Pass the Parcel and a surprise finale for the cast on stage. Global star and legendary entertainer Barry Humphries is to transfer his FAREWELL TOUR to the London Palladium for a West End run from Wednesday 13th November (Press Night: Friday 15th November). EAT PRAY LAUGH! will give audiences the chance to bid farewell to Humphries, arguably Australia's greatest entertainment export, whose creations have brought him international acclaim and adoration: cultural attache the Honorable Sir Les Patterson, Sandy Stone and, of course, the incomparable Dame Edna Everage.
