Broadway On 22nd Street to Kick Off Third Year at Metropolitan Room, 9/8

Broadway On 22nd Street Returns to The Metropolitan Room for its Third Smash Year. Conceived and Produced by Joseph Macchia Broadway On 22nd Street the bi-monthly series brings some of Broadways most talented singers down to the Metropolitan Room.

On September 8th at 7pm Broadway performers James Harkness, Michelle Dowdy,Bret Shuford Karen Burthwright and Tracy Stay Musical directs the evening. Each performer will perform a four song mini-set.

James Harkness is pleased to be a part of this. Has been blessed to perform on Broadway in- AIDA, The Color Purple, Guys and Dolls, Chicago. Also is a choreographer having worked internationally on various types of productions including: RCA recording artist Kristine W., recording artist Brian Kent, Reno, Las Vegas, regional Theater Productions of "The Wiz", "The Color Purple", Just directed his first play entitled "HANDS". Michelle Dowdy Michelle Dowdy-26 year old native of Florida has lived in New York for 8 years now. Broadway; Hairspray (Tracy). Regional; The Wild Party(Mae), Songs For New World, The Vagina Monologues, and Hairspray in New Orleans. She has sing around town in the cabaret nightlife scene with her one woman concert, A Brass Act. With a seven piece band she has performed it at 54 Below and The Metropolitan Room. Michelle is about to record an album and plans to release the Album in October.

Bret Shuford Bret Shuford, Broadway: CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, THE LITTLE MERMAID.
