Calling all musical adventurists! The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra's new CSO Proof series offers a novel way to experience performances at Music Hall. Imagine artists and audience members sharing the stage in casual, intermission-less concerts with elements of music, theater, lighting and dance. During the 2019/2020 season, three CSO Proof performances will help celebrate the Orchestra's 125th anniversary by presenting artists collaborating with different curators who craft themes connecting orchestral music to listeners in adventurous ways.
Writer Roddy Doyle Announces Live 2020 Tour 'Conversations With Roddy Doyle'

Fane have announced a live tour celebrating the prolific career of one of Ireland's best loved writers, Roddy Doyle. Conversations with Roddy Doyle will tour across the UK and Ireland in 2020 and will see Roddy discuss his work in an intimate and entertaining evening of sprawling conversation, with various special guest interviewers, beginning at HOME Manchester on Sunday 8th March 2020 and concluding at Belfast's Ulster Hall on Thursday 4th June 2020. Conversations with Roddy Doyle will take in a total of 10 dates across the UK and Ireland, tickets for all venues on sale from Thursday 14th November at www.fane.co.uk/roddy. The Philharmonia Orchestra today announces part one of a year of programming to celebrate its 75th anniversary, marking three-quarters of a century of world-class concerts, definitive recordings, technological innovation, community-led outreach and artistic adventure. Philharmonia at 75 opens in January 2020 with a pair of concerts conducted by Esa-Pekka Salonen focusing on the orchestra's founding year and featuring the world premiere of a new commission from Mark Anthony Turnage, Towards Alba, a Horn concerto commissioned by the Philharmonia with support from John and Carol Wates.
