On October 27, 2017 at 8:00PM, The New York Pops, led by Music Director Steven Reineke, will open its 35th season at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage, with a concert celebrating the centennial of the birth of the orchestra's founder, Skitch Henderson (1918-2018). The concert will feature the full 78-piece New York Pops orchestra performing some of the greatest hits of popular song, from Tin Pan Alley to today.

The winning bidder at The New York Pops Silent Auction, whose proceeds help finance The Pops/Ed Programs of The New York Pops, got something way above the original listed value. The auction item was for one pianist to play at your private party. However not only did the pianist show up at the appointed time, he was joined by some of the world's greatest pianists and entertainers for the special evening.

SandRico Productions will present a musical theatre work-in-development with a public reading of "From the Bodoni County Songbook Anthology: A Musical Review (of sorts)" with original text and lyrics by Frank Gagliano and music by the late Claibe Richardson.
