The Camp Broadway Kids, a musical theatre ensemble comprised of 60 theatre-loving kids, ages 12-16, will be featured at The New York Pops 33rd Birthday Gala at Carnegie Hall on Monday, May 2, 2016.

Streisand is coming to Cortland!  Not only that, she's bringing her friends Cher, Dolly, Liza, Adele and more when The Dozen Divas arrive at Cortland Repertory Theatre Downtown on Friday and Saturday, April 15 and 16.  Even more amazing, all these divas come wrapped up in one person: international performer and "America's Got Talent" finalist Dorothy Bishop. This multi-talented singer and impersonator will perform her live - not lip-synced - production at the new CRT Downtown theatre at 24 Port Watson Street in Cortland.  Doors will open at 7:00 and the performance begins at 7:30.

The Philly POPS will perform three Broadway's Greatest Hits concerts April 15-17 at the Kimmel Center.

The two organizations partner to provide music education programs that serve as creative outlets for the children and families in residence. The New York Pops family gathered at The National Arts Club on May 18th to celebrate the life of Ruth Henderson who passed away at her home in New Milford, Connecticut on February 25th 2015. In 1983, Skitch and Ruth Henderson founded The New York Pops. Chris Poe, President of The National Arts Club welcomed the guests and introduced James A. Read Board Chairman of the New York Pops. Many friends spoke of the dynamic, caring, beautiful and inspiring person that Ruth was. In 1991 Ruth established the PopsEd program, Kids In The Balcony, which provides free tickets to students for New York Pops Concerts.  Steven Reineke, music director of The Pops presented board member June Freemanzon, long time friend of the Henderson's with a framed photograph of one of the few pictures that exist of the two music directors of The New York Pops. Steven then sat at the the piano and played "Einsamkeit" a composition composed by Skitch Henderson for Ruth Henderson.  The afternoon was truly A Celebration of the Life of Ruth Henderson.

Last night, legendary vocalist MARILYN MAYE will brought her own style of jazz & show-biz to Iridium NYC, joined by the legendary BUCKY PIZZARELLI, for TWO NIGHTS ONLY, November 5th & 6th at 8:30 & 10:30pm. The reunion of these two 'Tonight Show' alumni is bound to be a musical party. Ms. Maye appeared on 'The Tonight Show' a record 76 times, more than any singer & Mr. Pizzarelli was an original member of 'The Tonight Show Band,' playing with Skitch Henderson.

The event will be a true family affair, featuring highlights from the siblings' greatest triumphs in theatre, television, and film.

This weekend, October 31 and November 1 and 2, the toe-tapping, captivating trumpeter and singer Byron Stripling joins the Houston Symphony for a memorable showcase of ragtime masters, blues legends and jazz classics.
