The Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) and the Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW) have announced nominations for outstanding achievement in television, new media, news, radio/audio, and promotional writing during 2017. Winners will be honored at the 2018 Writers Guild Awards on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at concurrent ceremonies in New York City and Los Angeles.

LAW & ORDER: SVU (1.3/5 in 18-49, 6.2 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) delivers its second-most-watched episode of the season. It's also the second-most-watched SVU since Feb. 8 (6.9 million), trailing over that span only last week's 7.1 million, which benefited from a high-rated lead-in from Christmas in Rockefeller Center

The TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON has delivered a decisive victory for the ratings week of Nov. 27-Dec. 1 in the key late-night demographic of adults 18-49, scoring Tonight's biggest margin over #2, excluding Thanksgiving week, so far this season, according to live plus same day results from Nielsen Media Research.

NBC's CHRISTMAS IN ROCKEFELLER CENTER (1.7/6 in 18-49, 9.0 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m.) is the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 networks in total viewers. Wins the slot over Survivor in total viewers (9.0 million vs. 8.2 million). Maintains 100% vs. last year in 18-49 (1.7 vs. 1.7 on Nov. 30, 2016), to match the annual event's highest rating since 2014 (1.8).
