Three artists who call San Francisco's EXIT Theatre home will each be part of the Third Annual FRIGID New York theatre festival, February 25-March 8, 2009. FRIGID New York was co-founded by New York's Horse Trade Theatre and San Francisco's EXIT Theatre.

Ripe Theatre presents Mimetic, a comedy written and performed by Noah Kelly, Sarah McKereghan, Mark Rachel, Liz Roddy and Deborah Wade, and directed by Peter Q. Parish. The group's 12th show at the EXIT, where it is a company-in-residence, plays Fridays and Saturdays, March 7-29 at Exit Main Stage, 156 Eddy Street

Sean Owens returns to EXIT Theatre with 'Naught But Pirates,' to play June 8 - 30. This outrageous adventure won him the Audience Choice Award at the New York Frigid Fest in March, 2007.

Naught But Pirates, playwright/performer Sean Owens' show which won the Audience Choice Award at the Frigid New York Theatre Festival, will return to the Exit Theatre for a June 8-30 run. The show is directed by Kenny Shults, and features original music by long-time Owens collaborator Don Seaver.

This March, Horse TRADE debuts FRIGID New York, the first ever CAFF-sanctioned festival in New York City. The artistic freedom of the FRIGID New York participating artists is entirely uncensored. The first stop on the 2007 North American Fringe Circuit is proudly produced in association with San Francisco's EXIT Theatre (home of the San Francisco Fringe; the second oldest fringe in the USA).
