DUETS with The Write Teacher(s) is back at 54 Below! Conceived and produced by Megan Minutillo (in association with thewriteteachers.com), the evening will feature music from across the musical theatre canon, pairing one Broadway singer with one Broadway hopeful.

Based on the 1994 Albert Finney film, the musical A Man of No Importance played at New York's Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater, Lincoln Center in 2002, then earned 2003's Outer Circle Critics Award for authors Lynn Ahrens (Lyrics), Stephen Flaherty (music), and Terrance McNally (Book.) This past Sunday (for two performances), 54 Below staged a concert version of A Man of No Importance as part of their popular 54 Below Sings . . . series.

Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Tony Nominees Laura Osnes and Rob McClure star in an all-new ten minute musical on this month's episode of the musical theater podcast: Take A Ten. The brand new audio musical also co-stars Ryan Andes of Big Fish and Peter Pan Live. The musical, 'Veronica at the Altar' tells the story of Veronica (Osnes), a woman conflicted between marrying her fiance?e (McClure), a secure and simple accountant, and her ex- boyfriend, a daring treasure hunter (Andes). 'Veronica at the Altar' features a book by Edward Kleban Prize winner, Jeremy Desmon (Pump Up the Volume, Good News). Music for the episode was written by Andy Roninson with lyrics by George Merrick, both of whom are recipients of the Jerry Harrington Award for Outstanding Creative Achievement

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, will welcome five original programming producers: Scott Coulter, Shoshana Feinstein, Brandon Ivie, Benjamin Rauhala, and T. Oliver Reid. In their new capacity, the five producers have been commissioned to create a variety of shows including musicals in concert, songwriter celebrations, reunion concerts, and more.

NBC's PETER PAN LIVE, the network special from executive producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, will air on December 4. Preparing to sprinkle fairy dust across America, NBC presents a bold new LIVE television production of the classic Broadway musical that will gather friends, families and anyone who refuses to ever grow up. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the special will star Allison Williams, Christopher Walken, Christian Borle, Kelli O'Hara, Taylor Louderman and Alanna Saunders for the live production.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced the winners of the NYMF 2014 Awards for Excellence. Awards are voted on by the NYMF jury and the awards were presented at the closing night celebration on July 27th at Arena Events Space.

Set in the present day on the porch of a swamp house in Mississippi, BAYONETS OF ANGST introduces audiences to a handful of old codgers who are partaking in their annual reunion. In fact, this is their 149th gathering, and each year the shrinking group gets together to relive their experiences during the American Civil War. As an audience, we are told to forget what we learned in history because these men were there. Over the next two hours, we are treated to a dizzying array of madcap, behind-the-scenes hilarity that turns history on its head.
