From the farms of Texas to the sands of Arabia, The 5th Avenue Theatre is taking Seattle on an unforgettable journey in Secondhand Lions - a thrilling new musical based on the popular film starring Michael Caine and Robert Duvall. Secondhand Lions springs to musical life in Seattle with a cast that includes Broadway stars Gregg Edelman, Mark Jacoby, Jason Danieley, Kevin Earley, Kendra Kassebaum, Jenny Powers, and A Christmas Story's Johnny Rabe as Walter, the show's young lead, alongside several of Seattle's favorite musical theater stars.

The Arvada Center will open the award winning musical, Curtains directed by Gavin Mayer tonight, July 9. Curtains is written by Rupert Holmes, and is based on the original book by Peter Stone, with music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb (Chicago and Cabaret).

Cape Rep Theatre presents Summer Starlight: An Evening With Ellen and Dermot Mulroney benefitting Cape Rep Theatre. Cape Rep is honored to have acclaimed film actor Dermot Mulroney and his mother, actress Ellen Mulroney one night only in the reading of a new, short play Peter Pan's Mother written by Christine Emmert, followed by an audience conversation in the intimate 130-seat theatre with Dermot moderated by Improper Bostonian magazine's lead columnist Jonathan Soroff on Monday, July 15 at 6:00 PM.

Roundabout Theatre Company presents the world premiere of The Unavoidable Disappearance of Tom Durnin by Steven Levenson, directed by Scott Ellis. The cast will include Christopher Denham as 'James Durnin,' Lisa Emery as 'Karen Brown-Canedy',Sarah Goldberg as 'Katie Nicholson,' David Morse as 'Tom Durnin,' and Rich Sommer as 'Chris Wyatt'. Performances began on May 31, 2013, and opening was last night June 27, 2013 at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). Producers Daryl Roth and Eva Price announced today that Tony Award-winning playwright Rupert Holmes' stage adaptation of A Time to Kill, John Grisham's best-selling novel, will open on Broadway on October 20, 2013 at the John Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street). This new Broadway play holds the distinction of being the first-ever John Grisham property to be adapted for the stage. Ethan McSweeny (Gore Vidal's The Best Man) will direct, with previews beginning September 28th. Additional information, including the complete casting and creative team, will be announced shortly.

MARRY HARRY is an official selection of the 2013 New York Musical Theatre and will be presented by the New York Musical Theatre Festival. The cast of The Mystery of Edwin Drood staged a reunion, with Tony nominee Stephanie J. Block,Bobby Creighton, Andy Karl, Jessie Mueller, and Betsy Wolfe all grabbing the mic separately and together with a live performance of their YouTube hit, 'Bustle Fluffah!' Drood composer/writer Rupert Holmes then surprised everyone by singing his #1 hit, 'The Pina Colada Song!' (Lucky audience members won the new Drood cast recording, too.)
