SILENCE! The Musical will conclude its current run tonight at the Elektra Theatre, 669 Eighth Avenue (at 42nd St.) Following the announcement that SILENCE! would be ending its long run today, December 30th, ticket sales unexpectedly soared, shattering all previous box office records for the show so far. As a result, the producers determined that performances of the smash hit show will resume after a brief hiatus on January 19th.

SILENCE! The Musical will play a special added matinee performance today, December 26th at 2 PM at the Elektra Theatre. Following the announcement that SILENCE! would be ending its long run on December 30th, ticket sales unexpectedly soared, shattering all previous box office records for the show so far. The Chelsea Symphony announces the third concert series of the orchestra's seventh season with a performance tonight, December 7 at 8 PM at St. Paul's Church, 315 West 22nd Street, New York NY 10011. The program will showcase a world premiere by Chelsea Symphony composer Seth Bedford entitled In a Snowy Day: Poem for Orchestra, as well as Chelsea Symphony resident composer Aaron Dai's The Night Before Christmas, narrated by special guest Mo Rocca.

Hosted by fellow "GLEE" Warbler Titus Makin Jr., with special guests Kimberly Whalen and Lauren Claire Chavez and musical direction by Alexander Georgakis. The Musical will celebrate its 400th performance at the 3 PM matinee this Sunday, November 18th at the new Elektra Theatre in the heart of Times Square, 669 Eighth Avenue (at 42nd St.) Winner of the 2012 Off Broadway Alliance Award for Best Musical, SILENCE! The Musical is the unauthorized parody of The Silence of the Lambs, with book by Hunter Bell, music & lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan, and direction & choreography by Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli. After opening at Theatre 80 on July 9, 2011 to unanimous rave reviews, the show immediately became a sold-out phenomenon and was selected by Time Magazine as one of the year's Top 5 Musicals.
