In a recent article by The Boston Globe, Bill Hanney, the new owner of the North Shore Music Theatre, is enthusiastic about the theatre's future. Despite still being under construction, GYPSY is set to open in 11 days.

'I was asleep when I got the news from my publicist! I did the Sinatra concert at Carnegie Hall last night so I was so tired. But talk about waking up to amazing news! Tonight, I am going to go to work and sure I congratulate every member of my cast, especially Chad for his nomination. It is collective work on that stage and we work so hard to make sure every night is as good as it can be.'

The Tony Awards Nominations were announced this morning on Tuesday, May 4th. Make Me a Song: The Music of William Finn, will be recorded and released as a live album by Ghostlight Records, a division of Sh-K-Boom Records. The performances which will be recorded will be this Saturday, December 1 at 5PM & 9PM and Sunday, December 2 at 3PM & 7PM.

Party Come Here, presented as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival and starring such talents as Hunter Foster and Kerry Butler, opened on September 25th at the TBG Theatre (312 W. 36th Street), where it runs through September 30th.
