Write Act Repertory Producing Artistic Director John Lant and Producer Cornell Christianson, ICFB Productions are pleased to announce the Off-Broadway premiere of IT CAME FROM BEYOND, a 1950's sci-fi, musical comedy with book by writer / producer Cornell Christianson, music and lyrics by Stephen M. Schwartz and Norman E. Thalheimer, and directed by Jim Blanchette.

Motown icon Smokey Robinson and acclaimed country artist Cam will share the stage and swap vocals on their most beloved hits spanning multiple genres and decades in a new installment of “CMT Crossroads,” premiering Wednesday, March 28 at 10 p.m. ET on CMT.

At its fifth annual Eight Over Eighty benefit gala, The New Jewish Home will pay tribute to eight New Yorkers who, in their ninth and tenth decades, continue to live lives of remarkable achievement, vitality, and civic engagement. The event, at the Ziegfeld Ballroom on Monday, March 12, raises funds to support The New Jewish Home, one of the nation's largest and most diversified nonprofit geriatric rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and home health care programs, which together serves 12,000 older adults of all faiths and ethnicities each year. Over 450 business and philanthropic leaders, influencers, healthcare and eldercare advocates, and cultural patrons are expected to attend the event, which is projected to raise $1.5 million.

5-STAR THEATRICALS (formerly Cabrillo Music Theatre) continues its 2017-2018 season with the Thousand Oaks premiere of THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, book by Peter Parnell (based on the Victor Hugo Novel and songs from the Disney film), musical direction by Dan Redfeld, choreography by Michelle Elkin and directed by Misti B. Wills. THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME opens on Friday, April 20, 2017 and runs through Sunday, April 29, 2018at the 1,800-seat Kavli Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 Thousand Oaks Boulevard in Thousand Oaks.

Grammy Award winner Ray LaMontagne is set to release his seventh studio album, Part Of The Light on May 18th via RCA Records.  The album was written and produced by Ray LaMontagne and will feature the first single, “Such A Simple Thing.” Fans that pre-order the album through Ray's website will be able to stream a live version of the song before its release.

Buddy Guy will be taking the stage at the Morrison Center Thursday, June 21st at 7:30 pm.  At age 81, Buddy Guy is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, a major influence on rock titans like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, a pioneer of Chicago's fabled West Side sound, and a living link to the city's halcyon days of electric blues. Buddy Guy has received 7 GRAMMY Awards, a 2015 Lifetime Achievement GRAMMY Award, 37 Blues Music Awards (the most any artist has received), the Billboard Magazine Century Award for distinguished artistic achievement, a Kennedy Center Honor, and the Presidential National Medal of Arts. Rolling Stone Magazine ranked him #23 in its '100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.'

Platinum selling RCA Records artist Chris Young is waking up this morning celebrating his 10th chart-topping single as “Losing Sleep” takes the top spot on both the Billboard and Mediabase country radio charts this week. The song is Chris' 10th No. 1 as an artist – his fourth consecutive single to peak at No.1 - and his eighth as a songwriter, including “Sober Saturday Night,” “Think Of You,” “I'm Comin' Over,” “You,” “Tomorrow,” “Voices,” and “Gettin' You Home.” 

Everybody say yeah! Staring last night, February 2, Grammy Award-winner Kirstin Maldonado, of the hit acapella group Pentatonix, made her Broadway debut as 'Lauren' in Kinky Boots on Broadway.
