With just over a month to go until We The Fest 2018 descends on Indonesia's bustling capital, festival organisers Ismaya Live have decided to throw even more major acts into the mix as the countdown to day one begins.

For the 3rd consecutive year, Miranda Lambert's charitable organization, MuttNation Foundation, has proven that country fans have hearts as big as her home state of Texas by coming out and adopting 56 dogs during the 4-day event at the Music City Center – with over 150 MuttNation pups adopted at this event alone over the 3-year period.

For the third consecutive year, Miranda Lambert's MuttNation Foundation will be entertaining CMA Fest fans with Music City's cutest canines, all available for adoption to caring, qualified families. Partnering with Nashville Humane Association, MuttNation will have adorable adoptables available each day from11-3pm at the MuttNation rig located inside the Music City Center. Bev Lambert, Miranda's mom and co-founder of MuttNation Foundation, will be on-site to have photos taken with each adopting family. With MuttNation's support, more than 100 shelter dogs have been rescued by country music fans at CMA Fest over the past two years.

The producers of Tennessee Whiskey the Musical, are opening up a national talent search to cast the role of the King of Country, George Strait for their upcoming production of Tennessee Whiskey the Musical, the story of Dean Dillon. To kick-off the search, they are launching a virtual audition process where interested performers can post a video singing and playing a George Strait/Dean Dillon song. These videos will be seen by the show's casting team and it could earn them a chance for a callback at one of the show's National auditions taking place in New York, Nashville and Las Vegas in the summer of 2018.*

'Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin)' - the lead-off track and first single from Dave Matthews Band's forthcoming album, Come Tomorrow - was released today by RCA Records. Hailed by Rolling Stone as an 'understated plea for compassion and tolerance,' the song quickly became a fan favorite after the band debuted it live in May 2016. Written by Matthews, it was produced by Rob Cavallo and John Alagia. 

The CMA Foundation honored 34 music educators during the third annual CMA Music Teachers of Excellence ceremony last night, Tuesday, May 8, at Nashville's Marathon Music Works. The invite-only event, hosted by RCA Records Nashville recording artist as well as CMA and CMA Foundation board member Chris Young, celebrated teachers from districts across the state of Tennessee as well as cities Chicago, Cincinnati, Los Angeles and Seattle for their advocacy and commitment to music education. More than a dozen Country artists and celebrities attended the ceremony in addition to Nashville Mayor David Briley, Metro Nashville Public Schools Superintendent Shawn Joseph, CMA and CMA Foundation board members, industry leaders, and representatives from eight CMA Foundation beneficiary programs. 

Today, Dave Matthews Band revealed the track listing for its ninth studio album, Come Tomorrow, and announced plans to release the first single, 'Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin),' on May 10.  Come Tomorrow - due out June 8 on RCA Records - is the band's first studio album since 2012's Away From The World, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Country Music Hall of Fame' s Dean Dillon will give an exclusive, invite-only concert at Times Square's Opry City Stage New York City (1604 Broadway, between 48 & 49 Street) on Saturday, May 12 at 7pm (Doors open at 6:30pm).
