The Musical Parody, the unauthorized parody of the hit TV show will play its final performance. When FRIENDS ends its successful run, it will have played 17 previews and 213 regular performances.

The Musical Parody (still onstage at St Luke's Theater), the princes of parody, Bob and Tobly McSmith, are bringing a new show to The Theater Center in New York City. The Office! A Musical Parody (www.theofficemusicalparody.com) is set to open this fall and is produced by Right Angle Entertainment and McSmith Family Entertainment. Tickets go on-sale in June.

Indie artist Shane is laying his SAD EP to rest and preparing to unleash a batch of new songs. The East Coast leg of the “Funeral” tour will feature the 22-year-old artist performing songs from SAD and debuting new material. The headline run kicks off May 16 at DC9 in Washington, DC and includes a May 18 show at New York City's Mercury Lounge. Shane will be sticking around to meet fans after the shows. TCU Announces World Premiere Opera in Partnership with US Army

Texas Christian University's School of Music is proud to present the world premiere of a new opera, The Falling and the Rising, by contemporary artistic duo Zach Redler, composer, and Jerre Dye, librettist. The new opera paints a powerful portrait of the incredible resiliency, fortitude and heroism of our nation's wounded warriors, and is the culmination of a large-scale project commissioned by TCU together with the Arizona Opera, San Diego Opera, Opera Memphis, Seagle Music Colony, Seattle Opera and the U.S. Department of Defense. A product of the TCU School of Music's dedication to commissioning new music, The Falling and the Rising will premiere at 7 p.m. April 6 at Ed Landreth Hall and Auditorium and run for five performances.

Held inside the Michael Jackson ONE Theatre at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, this year's production was inspired by the life of GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Jewel.
