The producers of HAIRSPRAY have announced the full cast for the upcoming North American tour and we've got the scoop on the cast and the tour schedule. Helmed by Jack O’Brien and Jerry Mitchell. HAIRSPRAY will visit more than 60 cities in its first touring season and is expected to play for multiple seasons.

Robert Battle, Artistic Director of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, announced today that internationally renowned performer, choreographer, director, and multi-disciplinary artist Francesca Harper has been appointed Artistic Director of Ailey II, the Ailey organization's acclaimed company of young dancers. Ms. Harper will assume her duties on September 7, 2021, and will immediately begin preparing for Ailey II's return to the stage.

Artistic Director Paul Miller has directed several Shaw plays here, most recently Candida in 2019. In this quick-witted revival of two of Shaw’s short plays, social expectations and marriage are skewered in typical Shavian style.
