Today, iconic artist and entertainer, Snoop Dogg, released his first gospel album, the much anticipated, Bible of Love (All The Time Entertainment / RCA Inspiration). The project, which was a labor of love for Snoop, is his 16th album and marks the first release from his new imprint, All The Time Entertainment.

The Grammy-nominated Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, which captures the infectious fun of big band music, will perform at the Younes and Soraya Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts (The Soraya) on Thursday, April 5 at 8:00pm.  Jazz Times called the Los Angeles-based band, with a 32-year history, "one of current jazz's most vital large ensemble." Co-founder bassist John Clayton is a CSUN alumnus who has gone on to play with superstars such as Michael Jackson, Patti LaBelle and Madonna.

Maestro LUKE FRAZIER and THE AMERICAN POPS ORCHESTRA - Washington, DC's innovative hometown orchestra - will conclude their star-studded third season with Let's Misbehave: Cole Porter After Dark at the Orchestra's new home, Arena Stage at The Mead Center for American Theater (1101 Sixth Street SW) on Saturday, May 19 at 8:00 PM. Let's Misbehave will feature guest stars Betty Who (the pop star making her orchestra debut), Liz Callaway (Tony Award nominee, voice of Disney's Princess Jasmine and Anastasia), Ali Ewoldt ((Phantom of the Opera on Broadway), Helen Hayes Awards Winner), Vishal Vaidya (Groundhog Day on Broadway), and Mo Rocca ('CBS Sunday Morning,' NPR's 'Wait Wait…Don't Tell Me!'). Today, Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC) and the Santa Rosa Symphony announced the lineup for the 2018-19 Symphony Pops Series, to be presented in the Ruth Finley Person Theater at Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (50 Mark West Springs Road in Santa Rosa). Now in its 14th year, the Sunday afternoon concert series introduces audiences to the great depth and range of sounds of the Santa Rosa Symphony and acclaimed soloists, through the music of legendary Motown artists, dynamic divas, and tributes to pop sensations.

Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter and five-time Grammy Award winner Michael McDonald will play The VETS in Providence on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 7:00pm. VIVIAN REED, the two-time Tony Award-nominated Broadway star and concert artist called "remarkable and ferocious" by The New York Times and "a force of nature" by The New York Post, will continues her tribute to entertainment icon Lena Horne in a special centennial celebration at Feinstein's / 54 Below. For one more show on Wednesday, March 7, Reed will offer high-energy, fearless renditions of Lena classics such as "Stormy Weather," "The Lady is a Tramp," "A Fine Romance," "I've Grown Accustomed to His Face" and "On A Wonderful Day Like Today." She is accompanied by an all-star quartet featuring Conductor William Foster McDaniel on piano, Calvin Jones on bass, Damon DueWhite on drums and Don Tipton on guitar. Earlier this season, Vivian received the Mabel Mercer Award from the Mabel Mercer Foundation at Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Ledisi will bring her Let Love Rule Tour to the Peace Center on Wednesday, May 30, at 7:30 p.m., with special guests Melanie Fiona and Tweet.

From the producers behind hit WNYC Studios podcasts 2 Dope Queens, Sooo Many White Guys, and Nancy, comes LATE NIGHT WHENEVER, a hilarious send-up of late night TV, complete with celebrity guests, live music, and stand-up. Host Michelle Buteau, a 2 Dope Queens fan favorite and VH1 host, is known for her raw comedy and disarming style-she'll bring both to the stage on LATE NIGHT WHENEVER. Guests will get personal and reveal all. Even the audience will have the opportunity to get in on the action in this podcast recorded live in downtown New York City. Michelle will be joined by one-man house band Rob Lewis, producer and musical director for stars like Christina Aguilera and Patti LaBelle.

The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts announces three more critically-acclaimed acts to its 2018 Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts (PIFA). They are Toshi Reagon -- a talented singer, composer, and producer with roots in folk, blues and rock; Nobuntu - an all-female a capella group from Zimbabwe; and Inventive Mothers: A Tribute to Frank Zappa performed by Studio Dan from Austria. Each will enhance the stellar lineup of artists already planned for PIFA 2018. The 11-day festival is packed with more than 50 performances ranging from music and dance to 360-degree immersive spectacle experiences, and will attract regional visitors to Philadelphia from Thursday, May 31 through Sunday, June 10.

On March 19, Hendryx invites Liza Jessie Peterson to debut Down the Rabbit Hole: A Peculiar Patriot All Day Mashup of stories from behind the wall, a mix of Peterson's acclaimed one-woman show The Peculiar Patriot and her book All Day. Over March 29-31, Hendryx convenes the first-ever Rock Solid Women's Festival: Celebrating Women in Art & Music, presenting a radically inclusive lineup of poets, singers, songwriters and literary writers.

The one-night-only engagement marks the premiere of Hannah's audacious if inevitable tribute to Barbra Streisand, a singer and presence to whom she is often compared.
