BET Networks announces the cast of the Will Packer and Will Packer Media executive produced original series, 'BIGGER' (formerly Peachtree Place), premiering on the network's streaming service BET+, this fall. 'BIGGER' is an entertaining and lively scripted comedy starring Tanisha Long, Angell Conwell, Rasheda Crockett, Chase Anthony, and Tristen Winger, which takes place in the East Atlanta neighborhood, Little Five Points. The 30-minute, ten-episode series follows a single-black-woman who is dealing with the threat of marriage to a boring-in-bed boyfriend and the sudden, random death of a college acquaintance. The tragedy drives her ambitious group of friends to take a deeper look at their stagnant lives, asking themselves - is there something bigger and better in life. 'BIGGER' recently wrapped production this summer in Atlanta.

In past concerts that have been described by the New York Times as being “soulful,” “evocative,” and “playing directly to the band's strengths,” the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis performed original compositions inspired by masters of modern art including Romare Bearden, Stuart Davis, Sam Gilliam, Winslow Homer, Wifredo Lam, Norman Lewis and Piet Mondrian. On August 2, 2019,Blue Engine Records will release the studio recordings of these charts on a new album entitled Jazz and Art.
Esplanade Breaks New Ground With Singtel Waterfront Theatre

Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay officially broke ground today for the construction of its new 550-seat theatre situated along its busy waterfront. In appreciation of Singtel's generous donation of S$10 million, the performance venue will be named Singtel Waterfront Theatre at Esplanade. Opening in 2021, the new theatre will fill the gap between Esplanade's large venues and smaller studio spaces, and enable the national arts centre to further support future generations of artists and arts groups to create new works that tell Singapore and Asian stories and widen its engagement with various communities.

Grammy Award-winning artist Tim Kubart's album of 12 original songs, Building Blocks, has received a 2018 GRAMMY Award nomination for Best Children's Album. Building Blocks is one of five albums, out of hundreds released this year, to receive the honor. The 61st GRAMMY Awards celebrations will be hosted by the Recording Academy in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 10, 2019.
