Padua Playwrights presents the world premiere of DaddyO Dies Well, written and directed by legendary poet-playwright Murray Mednick. A deeply lyrical and darkly comic meditation on the sacred and profane that is the fifth installment in Mednick's eight-play 'Gary Plays' cycle, DaddyO Dies Well will close May 22 at the Electric Lodge in Venice.

Continuing their mission of developing new works and cultivating the next generation of playwrights, Urban Stages (Frances Hill, Artistic Director) will present a reading of David Koteles' The Cook's Tour, directed by Chris Henry. In conjunction with the premiere of his play, Borderline, noted playwright Murray Mednick will be in Atlanta to teach a Writing Workshop at PushPush Saturday, January 29th from 1pm - 4pm. The cost for the workshop will be at the reduced rate of $30 and is open to all writers interested in writing for film and/or theater.
