In conjunction with the premiere of his play, Borderline, noted playwright Murray Mednick will be in Atlanta to teach a Writing Workshop at PushPush Saturday, January 29th from 1pm - 4pm. The cost for the workshop will be at the reduced rate of $30 and is open to all writers interested in writing for film and/or theater.

Part discussion, part hands-on, participants should bring ideas and writing samples.

This is an invaluable opportunity for Atlanta theater/film writers, not to be missed. As founder of the Padua Hills Playwrights Workshop in California, Mednick has influenced such playwrights as Sam Shepard, Eduardo Machado, Tony Kushner, David Scott Milton, and Maria Irene Fornes.

A combined price of $40 includes the workshop AND a ticket to his new play, Borderline.

"Murray puts it out there without flinching. There's not a voice like his in the theater today."
Martin Epstein, Master Teacher, Tisch School of The Arts, NYU

Mednick's work has been recognized by the American Theater Critic's Association, Rockefeller Grants, and a Guggenheim Fellowship.
