PushPush Closes Borderline 1/29

PushPush Presents Borderline, a world premiere play by Murray Mednick. A dangerous, funny and profound dark comedy featuring Eddie Levi Lee, Alex Van, Tim Habeger, Shelby Hofer, Vivi Thai, Kristina Devega, and Leslie Bellair.

Would you fight if you're about to lose everything important in your life? Or would you deny the situation and head for the downward spiral? Craig, a substitute teacher and secret addict, consults with his only adviser, an old hipster Rabbi who lives in his Volkswagen down by the mall.

Mednick's work has been recognized by the American Theater Critic's Association, Rockefeller Grants, and a Guggenheim Fellowship. As founder of the Padua Hills Playwrights Workshop in California, Mednick influenced such playwrights as Sam Shepard, Eduardo Machado, Tony Kushner, David Scott Milton, and Maria Irene Fornes, who referred to the Padua Hills workshop as a paradise for playwrights.

PushPush has enjoyed a long, successful relationship with Murray, producing nine of his plays including Clown Show for Bruno, Heads, 16 Routines, Joe & Betty, Tirade for Three, Baby, Jesus! and Freeze. PushPush is honored to produce this world premiere of his newest play.
