Iconic comedian Norm Macdonald, known for his singular style and delivery, shares a final, posthumous stand-up special on Netflix, launching May 30, 2022. Norm Macdonald: Nothing Special, which he named, was self-taped in the comedian’s home. 

The 28th Annual San Luis Obispo International Film Festival (April 26-May 1) announced that Dale Dickey (A Love Song) will receive the King Vidor Award at next week’s film festival and Michael Showalter (The Eyes of Tammy Faye) will be this year’s Spotlight Award honoree. Stacy Peralta’s The Yin and Yang of Gerry Lopez was also announced as the featured film for this year’s Surf Nite at the Drive-in.

Nathan R. Matthews is producing and performing in a concert for The Riverside Opera Ensemble at Merkin Hall at the Kaufman Music Center on May 16th. Tony nominee Christiane Noll (Ragtime) and Grammy winner Edward Parks (The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs) will headline the concert of new music by Dreamworks composer Drew Fornarola and Matthews himself.

SHOWTIME has released the official trailer for I LOVE THAT FOR YOU, the half-hour comedy series starring and executive produced by Emmy® nominee Vanessa Bayer (Saturday Night Live), with fellow nominee Molly Shannon (The White Lotus) and Screen Actors Guild® Award nominee Jenifer Lewis (Black-ish) also leading the cast.

Randy Rainbow is back with an all new song parody, this time taking on 'Dentist!' from Little Shop of Horrors, and putting his own spin on it for 'GURL, YOU'RE A KAREN'.

Ariana DeBose took home the award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the recent film adaptation of West Side Story. The film also won in the Best Film Editing category.

On the evening of Wednesday, April 13th, Chicago Humanities Festival will host two separate events at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance: the first with comedian Molly Shannon and the second with Queer Eye's Jonathan Van Ness.
